This stress leads to a shorter growth cycle, resulting in thinner and shorter strands of hair. In men, this type of hair loss is characterized by a specific pattern, including a receding hairline in the temples and forehead, as well as thinning at the crown, which may eventually lead to baldness.

The Treatment Process
Our in-office treatments include Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment to the scalp. PRP for hair loss is highly effective in preventing hair loss and hair thinning. It also helps to regrow and promote thicker, healthier hair. Various conditions can cause hair follicles to become weak and inactive. Injecting your own platelet-rich plasma, which contains growth factor proteins, into the hair follicles will help to strengthen hair follicles and promote hair regrowth.
At MAA, we use the finest equipment for PRP extraction which yields high quality and effective PRP for treatment. In addition, based on your medical history and type of hair loss, you will be evaluated for the prescribing of oral medications that can help prevent hair loss and enhance hair growth.
A series of 3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart is recommended with maintenance treatments 1-2 times per year.
